We design single- family residential buildings for those who desire old- world beauty with modern conveniences and health conscious technologies. We offer several traditional or period house designs that can fit within your dream home realization. Chief Executive Officer, Lawrence Owen
"Mr. Lawrence Owen is a highly skilled designer who brought to bear his many talents on a challenging project-- the complete rehab of a large eight bedroom house. The task we gave him was: to retain the original character of the one hundred year old structure but with the addition of all modern conveniences.
Mr. Owen did this to our entire satisfaction. He brings along an extensive knowledge of available products and systems, a good taste for product and color coordination and, yes, a sense of flair. He is familiar with the latest technologies and is sensitive to environmental issues. If I were to take on another challenging project, I would want Lawrence Owen on my team."

"Lawrence is a talented and ingenious designer. There are many traits Lawrence offers that make working with him a delight. First of all, he has true character. A man of his word and honors it. That should really say it all, but I will go on about our past work partnerships.
As a designer, Lawrence sees the project as a whole, no matter a renovation or a new home application. He does not act in haste but absorbs the original character of the home and compliments it with his design. In the event there is an issue with a project, he is never in a rush to blame, but always looks to solve. Not a common trait in today’s world. Lawrence is a great listener, therefore, when you tell him your desires for a design or space he will make every effort to include all of that in his design and not just push his agenda.
In our many projects together, I found Lawrence to be very knowledgeable with regards to products, finishes and how it actually all goes together physically. I would recommend Lawrence for any design project that desires well thought- out, timely and creative characteristics. In fact, I still do today. Lawrence Owen is a stand- up guy."

"Our firm, Village Centre Properties, is in the business of repurposing historic properties for a new use and lease on life. We had the pleasure to work with Lawrence as our lead design firm to take an old, abandoned building and create a new design while retaining the historic character. The magic for us was, and continues to be, Lawrence’s ability to transform our unclear intentions, and often more feelings than ideas, into a reality that we were proud to present to the public and our partner tenants."
- Mr. David Halliday

"Over the past 18 or so years, I have had the pleasure of working with master designer Lawrence Owen on numerous projects, and I frankly cannot see myself engaging anyone other than Lawrence for any future works. Lawrence has designed an unique office space for my professional practice; transformed our uninteresting sloped back yard into a stunning two-tiered patio-with-vista by designing a terraced retaining wall curving around a spacious stone and slate patio; designed an extraordinarily beautiful addition to our family shore house; and for another family member, fully renovated a Victorian home and added an exquisite wrap- around covered porch. If there is one signature feature that defines Lawrence's works, I would say that each finished project is so seamlessly and superbly integrated into its new environs in terms of design and materials, that it looks native to the site, like it has always been there.
Working with Lawrence is a smooth, deeply satisfying process. To start with, he truly listens and unhurriedly discusses until we are both sure he understands what it is I am after. From his sketches, to the architectural drawings, to the pricing out of the project; each phase is quickly turned around, professionally presented, and meticulously thought out. Lawrence's extensive knowledge of historical architecture, his impeccable sense of design and his total professionalism at every stage of the process makes working with him not only a pleasure, but a richly rewarding collaboration."

"Lawrence Owen has been an invaluable contributor to the success of the Historical Society of Hilltown Township, both as a Board member and as a historical preservation consultant. Lawrence took initiative in determining what needed to be done with the Society’s buildings to maintain and restore them. Lawrence always volunteered his time and his knowledge in a very professional and collegial manner.
Lawrence led or contributed to many important projects that Historical Society of Hilltown Township needed to achieve in order to be a viable community resource: a) identify and recommend essential repairs and maintenance issues, such as repair dangerous flooring and removal of hazardous material; b) open the Homestead for public events and Society’s use; c) become a more visible contributor to preserving Hilltown’s heritage and sharing it with our community.
The Society’s Rueben and Elizabeth Strassburger Farmstead has recently been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Here are examples of projects led by Lawrence:
· preparation and implementation of CDBG Grant project
· documenting the conditions of the Society’s buildings
· community– business partnership w/Home Depot, Hilltown Twp., Bucks County Technical Rescue Task Force-97, and Hilltown Fire Department's 59, 60, 61
· publicity of Society’s architectural resources
· historical research about the Society’s buildings
Lawrence Owen continues his vital consultation as an Emeritus Board member."
